Welcome!

Hello all! I'm not exactly sure what to put here; I made a blog to try to keep up with Cliff and Kris and the girls.

Currently in my life, and for over two months, I've been pretty sick. It feels like I've done over a hundred test and they still don't know what's going on. I'm convinced that it's my gall bladder, but they just won't take it out! Sometimes I feel okay, and other times I feel really sick and have a LOT of pain. I don't feel like eating a lot of the time and I've lost 14 pounds. They have me on this medicine right now that makes me feel kind of dizzy and strange. The other day I started shaking in my third hour class and a girl and to help me get down the stairs and to the nurse. I've missed so much school I have no idea how I'm ever going to make everything up! I've dropped two classes so far and I was in Accelerated Algebra II but now I'm just in the regular Algebra II.

I've also missed a lot of skating-- I bet I've missed more skating this season than I have in the past 5 years because I NEVER miss skating. Not only am I missing skating, I missing the last few weeks of my coach. Bridget has been my coach since I was in kindergarten, and she's having a baby! I'm really excited that's she is having a baby (all call her baby "my baby"), but little Stephanie Lynn is due at the end of January. OY! I just hope I get better soon!!!

I drove to Hudson yesterday to meet my dad at Denny's. The last time I saw him was at the start of October when I started getting sick. He's been working in Korea since June but he won't be going back. We went to visit him at the end of July and had a GREAT time! The only real drawbacks were the smell, the heat, and my terrible sunburn. But anyhow, I met him at Denny's and then we were going to drive to the cities to get my skates sharpened and to do some shopping. I couldn't get my skates sharpened by my regular sharpener because he wasn't working so I had to go to another skateshop. At the other skateshop the guy told me that my skates were basically shot. I almost cried; I've had makes for five years and I knew I need new ones, but I was hoping I could finish the season. Oh well... After we left the skateshop we went to the Mall of America and let me tell you....it is NOT fun shopping with my dad. I only got to go to a few stores but I did get a sweater for Christmas. I actually got it at the Kid's Gap =) My dad's driving on the way back kind of freaked me out driving because they DO NOT drive the same way in Korea, plus the roads were getting really bad and it was snowing. We made it okay, but I've never seen so many cars in the ditch in my life.

I'm busy trying to get ready for Christmas, trying to catch up with school, skating and coaching but being sick is kind of slowing me down. Hopefully everything will work out!

Happy Holidays!
